Everything I’ve learned over the last few years turning into a raw vegan, raw til dinner girl, points in the direction of getting rid of soy.
Soy can mess with your hormones from everything I’ve read and heard. And for someone dealing with infertility or early menopause, forget that!
There is a decent alternative for transition time though. It is Bragg’s Liquid Aminos. This is a more raw version, that is supposed to be healthier than regular soy sauce.
There is one you can buy that actually sprays onto your food, so you don’t over use it.
It is a bit high on the salt… 160 mg per 1/2 tsp, so go gently on it 🙂
I’m past the phase of needing this now, but it was a nice transition item for me.
